What is your favorite sport(s) to call?

My favorite sport to call is baseball or softball. These two sports are my favorite because the weather turning into summer, there is more time in-between action, and Vin Scully is my broadcasting idol.

How do I become a broadcaster?

You have to go chase the opportunities if you want to be a broadcaster. Broadcasting is not a job that is given to you, you have to work hard to get the chance, and then twice as hard to become good at it.

Kruck has called Mens’/Womens’ Soccer, Volleyball, Mens’/Womens’ Wresting, Mens’/Womens’ Basketball, Baseball, and Softball. He founded and cohosts “Krunch Time” with Maxwell “Mad Max” Williams.

How did you decide to become a broadcaster?

I decided to become a broadcaster when my sister’s junior varsity high school basketball did not have a public address announcer. This led me to ask the athletic director if I could call the game. He gave me a chance and I have not looked back since.

Why start a sports podcast?

With all of the other sports podcast around, I decided to create a sports podcast that breaks the mold. We still discuss the standard breaking sports news, but I try to always add a fun topic to set Krunch Time apart.
